It happens more then you think. The procedure is when the tank hits you in the chin jam on the back brake.
The only nasty side effect is you smack your jatz crackers on the tank which is usually rather painful but less painful and embarrassing then if you flip it

I remember his wild card entry in the 125s in the late 1990s at Phillip Island Motogp. He didn't win but he put in a big effort on an under powered bike which obviously impressed the right people. He was a rough old lad in the interviews back then. He got polished up lol

Yeah 250's it was and if he had of been on a bike that was even semi competitive he would have blown them away.
Mid 90's through to the mid 2000's really was the glory years for Aus on the world stage on bikes.
Look at who rode during that time you had the likes of Doohan, Beattie, McCoy, Vermeulen, West, Bayliss Stonner winning in Grand Prix, Super Bike, Super Sport or just about anything they threw a leg over. Blokes like Goddard, Corser, Pitt, Muggeridge winning world tittles Maladin dominating in the USA the likes of Gobbert, Martin, Phillis and a host of others putting in cameo rides. Wasn't unusually to flick the TV on watch and find Aus running 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
Hard to say where the next batch of riders will come from but no doubt they are out there. Young bloke up the road is going OK, dirt track back ground but had a crack on the ultimate rider show a few years back and has switched to circuit racing, won last years Aus Super Sport championship, tied for the Australasian super sport tittle, stepped up to superbike this year and is going OK, picked up a one of ride in the USA a few weeks ago and finished in the points.

Nah Brayden Elliott, last year was only his second season since switching from dirt so wasn't a bad result.
I think the talent is still out there just it seems to be harder for them to get a ride at world level.

Oh yeah. One of my mates from school has been sponsoring him from his tyre shop. Raminder Singh
Young Brayden has been going well.

Rossi steals poll from Iannone with 30 second to spare. Lorenzo falters
It is going to be a cracking race tonight.

How unlucky was Rossi to blow and engine like that. He was all over Lorenzo and would have won hands down. Darn it.

Unlucky for Miller as well, he really needs to start getting some results if he wants a seat next year.

Yes it was horrible for Miller particularly as he had been going so well in practice making some good improvements on this times. He has to put his crashes behind him and focus on finishing each race and his speed will come.

About time we had an Aussie back on top of the podium. He was fun to watch on Moto3, hope he can do the same in the premier class.

Yeah it was an awesome win. It was paying $501. Some guy made $22k betting $45 on the win.
Hope to see more of them now he has his mojo back
