No it doesn't make it alright. But College football is a business. Harbaugh decided the kid didn't have what it took even though he was a 4 star O lineman. I doubt he dropped the kid for no reason the kid might have struggling grades or got in trouble. Not knowing both sides of the story and jumping to blaming Harbaugh is reactionary result but we won't get the whole story so it just looks bad on Jim.
