Read some reports about NFL players punching out women, made me think about Some other sports.

Here is an interrview post punch up of the victim who received a flurry of punches to the head by an Aussie sportsman.

Personally think she deserved it though for doing this .....

Sharks and I have an arrangement. I don't go in the ocean, they don't come on land.

Sitting on my board waiting for the next wave, a pod of dolphins swam past,,it was awesome as they cruised down the beach.

Remembering that sharks sometimes scavenge for food after dolphins come through I was looking around a little more vigilant.

On sunset so T's feeding time for sharks...

Any way iT was near time to get last wave in and if you surf you know that last wave in can take forever ....

So was just scanning the swell, and the wave was coming towards me, thought yeah tHats my wave, then in the wave a large shadow turns and starts heading straight for me.

Initial Thought was "well that's me, I am shark bait."

But you know I will give it a mouthful of surf board first. So I put my feet up,on the board and pushed the nose down towards oncoming death.

So,the shadow goes straight under my board instead of attacking me direct

By this time both my feet on the board and off Balance and the swell hits me and I fall off my board into the water. Glancing behind me now the thing does a U-turn and start slowly wimping back towards me.......

I look down into the depths expecting to see a set of razor sharp teeth about to tear me a new one but instead......

I find my self looking down at the laughing eyes and a ginning mouth of a juvenile dolphin.

Needless to say, I needed a new wetsuits after that surf.

Or the day I saw a shark fin 20 yards away, then it disappears, only to pop up and stick it's head out of the water 10 yards from me and so,close i can see its eye ball looking at me on the side of its hammer head.

Olympic swimmers have nothing on me after that, I paddled straight in.

Back at the camp, site later that day, I hear a rescue helicopter fly in low overhead and lands on the beach just up,from where I was surfing.

Aparantly a surfer was bitten...by a hammer head shark

Mate and I were paddling out the back at a place called second reef.

We were side by side going strock for strock.

Anyway as we were out early morning it was an overcast day and a little dark.

So as my mate put his hand in the water a "small" wobbigon shark swims up from the reef and launches over his hand up to his lower arm.

Casually he lefts his arm up with the shark still on it, funniest thing I could not help but laugh.

I think the shak got a shock getting lifted out of the water, any it lets go and slides back in the water.

My mate just says casually, it was a male shark... Cause he reached that far down he could feel,it's balls.

We kept paddling out and had a great surf.
