Cousins over Davis and KAT. LeBron would be #1 without a doubt.

Daaamn...he cashed in big time. LeBron should get 90% of that pie tbh
Eh...he deserves it. He out-coached Kerr in the last 3 games.
I remember when posters were dogging the Lue hiring.
Pretty quiet now
Actually in this exact quote chain there's somebody saying it was all lebron. And 2 pages back there's a lot of the same. lol
That is quiet compared to the amount of posts immediately after the hire

It's also the offseason thread. Not as many followers of what's going on in here like during the season.

True.
The louder voices immediately after the hire are much more quiet..... To be more accurate

Lebron chases Ghost from Chicago
For the past decade, dramatic story lines have followed him, some of his own making, others contrived and distracting. Can he make the big shot? Can he win the big game? Can he win the big game in Cleveland? All that has melted away, into a puddle of Moët on the Oracle Arena hardwood, and finally he is left alone with the only subplot that ever really interested him. He has pondered it forever, but could not voice it, not with one title or even two. But now he has three, and the weight of this latest trophy tips scales the others did not. The guy in the second row waits for an honest answer.
"My motivation," James says, "is this ghost I'm chasing. The ghost played in Chicago."
---------
About damn time he said it. It'll be almost impossible but...

I'm not sure what he is "chasing". It cant be the most titles because others have more than Jordan. It cant be the best player ever because we all know that MJ will always be #1 (at least there is no one playing now that will pass him). So is his motivation now just to get as many titles as Michael?

If they win the title over the Dubs, he will be beating the greatest team ever assembled.
Last year put him on Mt Rushmore of the NBA. Winning next year is MJ status.

I think it's just a challenge to keep his motivation high, nothing more. Winning a title for CLE was his ultimate goal and now that he did that, and did so in historic fashion, there is nothing else out there larger than that accomplishment that needs to be reached....other than trying to tie or surpass MJs ring count. He is certainly on Mount Rushmore and everything after that as far as rankings go is up for debate. He is just looking for the next challenge to himself

MJ status? MJ had to play against much tougher teams in the East back then, not only that, he is 6 for 6 with 6 finals MVPs. Lebron would need to win 7-8 titles for their to even be a debate.
