Grounded Hayne plane's value could dive
JARRYD Hayne's stocks could plummet even further, with the injured 30-year-old facing the prospect of a further pay cut should he remain sidelined, reports the Sydney Morning Herald.
After taking a $700,000 pay cut to return to Parramatta after he bailed on his Gold Coast Titans contract early, Hayne produced a quiet start to his 2018 campaign before picking up a nasty hip-flexor injury that will sideline him for up to six weeks.
The Sydney Morning Herald reported on Friday morning that Hayne was more likely to command closer to $300,000 a season, particularly with clubs "keen to splurge most of their cash on key positions like the halves, hookers and fullbacks".
Hayne, contracted until the end of the season, said: "I'm not thinking about it. My thoughts are about getting back on the field and we'll see how it all pans out.''

If Hayne was selected for Origin, blues fans would be justified in rioting in the streets of Sydney. Hayne is a spent force in league.

I was present at this hearing in the Family Court and the Judge was in a dilemma.

The Mother was accused of child battery after beating her son once a month.

The Father was accused of beating his son once a week.

After some deliberation the Judge brought the son into the court and asked:

"Young man the Court is having trouble deciding who you should live with"
"Now you are 11 years old I will ask you where you want to live?"

The young boy replied, "I want to live with the Parramatta Rugby League Team"

Yeah, Jimmy the Jet all day. He's been playing great footy for mine and should get a shot. Latrell Mitchell looks very good.
