He could be a pain in the ass, but he was the only radio personality they had who acknowledged that there was life west of Chicago.

At least as an 18 year old - he'll have plenty of options of joining a program. Heard Saban and Urban made great pitches to him.

This is sad, he's the only radio show host that didn't talk about the SEC as if it was the only conferences in football. He also didn't dedicate an entire week of programming expounding the Greatness of the SEC after they got done running over a bunch of DII teams.

And they cover west coast sports... And He lives and COVERS sports teams west of Texas.... So, that may have something to do with it. Plus he never towed the SEC party line while at ESPN.

Yea he was by far the best guy they had. Especially b/c he talked more than just sports. Mike and Mike are a joke. all they do is try to get you to go to their personal twitter accounts. SVP show was good too but now he's gone.
