Want to watch Secretariat race AP, click the link. Pretty cool side by side of the race.

Yup. No comparison really. Secretariat was the GOAT by far and has the fastest times in all 3 of the triple crown races.

well that cant be argued. By far regarded as the best race horse ever. The challenge is we dont know what other horses like AP would have done running next to Secretariat. Probably still lose by 2.6 seconds, but you never know.

Either way, Secretariat is the GOAT, but AP is in the conversation with the rest.

I'm not sure that a triple crown should define a horses greatness but it certainly has. So much depends on how great the pool of 3 year old horses is. I dont think there was a serious contender this year to be honest but AP had great times and clearly a great horse.

A bit of trivia, Man O' War lost one race in his life at Saratoga when he got off to a slow start. The horse that beat him was named.............Upset.

Cool you found a random ass link

Man o'War voted best of 20th Century

"In 1999, both Blood Horse magazine and the Associated Press convened panels of experts to vote on who was the best thoroughbred of the past 100 years, and Man o' War came out on top in both polls. "http://www.nbcbayarea.com/news/sports/Horse-of-the-Century-Man-o-War-vs-Secretariat-201932431.html

Man O'War, as others have said, only lost once. Secretariat lost 5 or 6 times.
Lose these nuts.

Ha, got emmm
