Yeah, Thornton didn't look right. He seemed to have trouble cutting/pivoting on the fly, which limited his puck handling.

I am shocked they let Thornton play on that. I can understand Marleau, and maybe a little bit Hertl (that's still a little crazy too), but wow. We weren't going very far this year anyway. Hope our young players make huge strides going into the 2017-18 season.

Agreed, he played pretty well for us, but 3rd line D-men are easy to replace.

All I want for draft day are skaters who skate good and are good with the stick. The org needs less stone hands and feet.
