The San Francisco Bay Area has 8 million people in total BTW. That number goes up if you include all the fans driving from the Sacramento area. But, you can only sell out your max seating capacity.

I know you probably take it as an insult, but its true that midwesterners have nothing else to do but sports and food, so they get VERY passionate about those 2 things. Its more impressive that a place like the Bay Area is selling out baseball games with such a variety of things to do instead.

I just Googled "San Francisco population"

I don't take it as an insult at all because I don't agree with it at all. Arch, Lacledes Landing, City Museum, one of, if not the best, FREE zoo in the US, Science Center, Hidden Valley ski/snowboarding, multiple concert venues, Missouri Botanical Garden, numerous casinos, live theater events, multiple amusement parks, multiple festivals/fairs, go check out Delmar Loop, a park every other exit, STL Art Museum, brewery tour, Magic House. I could keep going. The mindset of those who believe its "just sports and food" just PROBABLY haven't been to St. Louis very long at all. I know you said midwest, but just using STL as a example. Now they are very passionate about sports and food, but to say there is "nothing else to do" is just incorrect.

^Videos will give you a better example.

Giants have better fans who fill their stadium to capacity better than any other team in MLB. Time for you to stop this foolishness once and for all, nobody care about St. Looooois on here other than you. Your own fan stats betray you. Bad tourist destination, minor league sports city. Teams leaving constantly, fan apathy. Lost NFL team twice, no hope of ever getting one back. Doesn't even have a BB team. (Warriors moving back to SF by the way, so don't go there) Lots of tension among the residents...why? I'll tell you why...boredom. Nothing to do but smell Budweiser being brewed. Which has to stink.

That's just the way it is. Now that you know you can relax. It's all good.

Not sure how it exactly started or why. Cubs/Yankees is kinda weird. Cubs/Cardinals or Yankees/Red Sox would make sense.
