Ugh
Parker and Griffin both have arm injuries. Parker's forearm...Griffin's elbow. No bueno.
You can basically pencil Jesse Chavez (who has looked good this spring) in as a starter at the bottom of the rotation.

Plus Sonny Gray has not been sharp...and the "shorter swing" Cespedes still looks lost. Things looking a little down right now, but after past 2 seasons will just have to try to relax and see what happens.

Jarrod Parker needs a second Tommy John surgery of his young career. Kind of knew it was coming after his drop on velocity at the end of the year but I was hoping it was just tired arm and an off-season of rest would do him well.
This is why there's no such thing as too much pitching. See ya in 2015 Parker!

and the Jason Voorhees of the A's (Daric Barton), once again leverages the incriminating photos he must have of Billy Beane to make the opening day roster. I would have liked to see them go with 3 catchers and keep Vogt.

Barton did well last year. I'd like to see if he continues to turn the corner or if he regresses.
In any case....

Daric Barton has zero baseball IQ. Why the f**k do you tag up in that situation?
Only the A's could figure out how to not score any runs out of that inning....

Effin' Barton... why in the cornbread f**k is he worried about tagging up??? Getting to 3B with 2 outs does you almost no good...a bomb like Donaldson hit is a "go halfway" every time. And there it is, Lowry and Moss are gone, inning over, no runs scored. Dips**t.
