The team seemed tired last night after the long flight from the east coast.

So, Arnold Leon and Jake Elmore are in Oakland today.
Who's getting sent down? Reddick to the DL? Barton?

oof, Chavez/A's off to another bad start...why do they have so much trouble with the M's? If they go on to lose tonight, they're staring down the barrel of a 4-gm sweep, because Straily pitching Game 1 of DH tomorrow vs. Hernandez, so you know the A's lose that one...and then Game 2 they probably won't start Milone, who sucks anyway, and will go with Pomeranz or minor-leaguer. And to think some writer at ESPN just last week called the A's the best team in baseball.

Yeah the A's are hurting right now. We just can't score any runs.

Team is in a serious slump. Home has not been kind to them this year, especially on offense. Nor has it been kind to Johnson. He may be one of those pitchers that just cant be successful in the Coliseum.

And I don't see things getting better today, I expect them to get swept in the double-dip and the series.

Only the current bungling A's could get three hits in the 1st inning and not score.
And now HR Straily has shown up again.

They made it a month before the loss of Parker and then Griffin are showing just how catastrophic it is...something will probably be done within the next few weeks, there's just no way they can survive with Straily and Milone losing games almost every time they take the bump.

And they really need to send Barton down. Freiman has to be a better option to back up Moss on 1B, defense or no. (And Barton's defense has been middling at best this season).

No way, Beane has that throw Barton made vs Red Sox on a loop, doing who knows what while he watches it. That'll be enough to make him forget Barton has been avg-at-best on defense and embarrassingly pathetic on offense.

BTW, started playing MLB 14 on PS4 last night. So nice to have Gray-Griffin-Parker-Kazmir-Chavez as the rotation.

Damn it Straily.
Can we trade Milone + Straily for a 4th starter and use Pomeranz as the #5? Pretty please?

Gee, another line drive right at an outfielder.
