If the Cards are willing to deal Miller or Martinez I'm sure the Cubs would jump. You know they are going to want one of those young stud pitchers

McCann will sign with the Red Sox.
Book It
Apparently,
McCann hasn't ruled out a return to the Braves yet. It's better that the Braves on with Gattis and Laird.
The Braves want to increase payroll by 10 million. If he wants to return, he may have to settle for like a 5 year deal worth 80 million.
He aint coming back, Braves will give him a qualifying offer and thats it.
On the Hudson front, the pitcher feels he has two or three more seasons left in the tank. How much would they want to invest in him if that is the case?
The Braves want to spend but in what direction?

Article said the it'd be a package based around Carlos Martinez, Shelby Miller, or Tyrell Jenkins (another up and coming stud SP).

I think there are rumors about it on MLBtraderumors. Rob will post it in the sub portion of the post season thread. Please post your comments and reactions in there.

So
The Dodgers can still keep their first round draft pick and slot money if they trade for David Price and sign Tanaka. They apparently have pieces to do it.
That rotation would just be solid from top to bottom
Kershaw
Grienke
Price
Ryu
Tanaka

It would have to be. Personally, if I was the Cubs I would insist on Carlos Martinez.

That would be hilarious. Starlin Castro isnt worth a top prospect anymore. Hes just a lazy kid with a bad attitude. The Cubs are looking to move him for a reason. Usually 23 year old top SS prospects with power and speed dont get traded..
