Would have loved to keep him but not at that rate. Good move for Detroit too to finally get a guy who can shoot in their starting lineup.
I would love for us to go after Isiah Thomas. LOVE Thomas. I like Lowry a lot too but I just feel like he's going to get overpaid by somebody and I don't want that somebody to be us.
Also like us bringing in Ariza. Hope we don't overpay for him.
lol there is no way in hell you guys steal Thomas from Sactown

Melo is a real possibility. Multiple tweets from different reporters coming out saying it's a 3 way battle between LA/NYK/Chi.
Also rumors that Melo is just using Lakers as leverage because 3 reporters tweeted that out in the same hour lol. this should be interesting

very mixed feelings on melo, part of me does want him to be a laker.
i just don't know how he's gonna beat a team that has either durant or lebron on it. on top of that, he's not getting younger. at 30 years olds, he's probably got another 2-3 years left in those legs until all he'll be able to do is mostly shoot jumpers. and let's not forget the volume shooters that both kobe and carmelo are. they both will average about 50 shots between then, one of them will have to change their game and shoot no more than 15-18 shots a game, will kobe or carmelo do that?
