I hate fan voting all stars People just vote by name recognition.
Lillard has a pretty good case to be an all-star IMO

But he was never far and away the best SG in the league. No center comes close to what Demarcus is doing
Well, I guess we'll see who much the coaches weigh reputation and attiude versus numbers and performance. Based on number and perfromance he is a no brainer.

It's going to be awfully difficult for Cousins to make the All-star game. He deserves it. But, I don't think he'll make it.

Guys who I would put on..........
Andre Drummond - leads East in double-doubles and rebounding
Arron Affalo
Guys I would leave off:
Deron Williams
Brook Lopez
I really thought of putting Drummond and Affalo on the roster...and they very well could make it. IMO - Brooklyn is starting to look a little better and Vogel/Spols will give them the nod. I'm a huge Drummond fan...hope he makes it.
I think if Rondo returns in early January and plays well - he will make it.

I dont know who you would leave off to put Cousins on the roster.
Even if you take off Dirk off the team...it is very likely Portland, Spurs, or OKC will get the coaching duties. They'll pick - Lilliard, Tony Parker, or Ibaka respectively.

You think the coaches don't like him? Or is it because you think the coaches lean heavily towards past history and team record (Duncan)?
I've heard the "he deserves it, but won't make it" thing a lot. I actually agree with that. I think he is definitely an all star this year, but around the league he isn't liked. And that is his fault. He has a bad rep and he earned that. But, that shouldn't preclude coaches for not voting him in as a reserve. He has been a straight beast.

Don't all the coaches pick the reserves? And they can't pick guys from their own team?
