I've only seen them play 5 times...but don't think their offense can consistently score against good defensive teams. They got a road-trip coming up soon where they face the top teams from West. That should give us a good indicator.
...btw, this is great for the Heat. Keeps them motivated during the early part of the season to not fall too far behind the Pacers - since the Pacers are already talking about nabbing the no.1 seed so they can have home court in game 7
There are exactly two teams in the East that have a winning record...and Indiana is one of them. Their schedule doesn't get harder. It's difficult to picture Miami going for 70 considering the games played over the last 3 years. The East is historically bad. I can definitely see them going 56-11 over the rest of the year.

Dude can play. Like 4ML said, he's going to be an excellent two way player for years to come. I'm not sure he's a PG on offense, but he's the kind of guy that you can win games with because he contributes in so many areas. He's going to be an All-NBA defender at some point in his career.

I agree 100%. I'd like for him to play PG, but he turns the ball over WAY too much (biggest problem I have with him so far).
I'm obsessed with his defense. He is relentless. I've watched every game this year and he just doesn't stop.
Not a fan of his turnovers...and hope he bulks up a bit...at times he is undersized. As a Magic fan in general, I'm ecstatic right now watching this team. 6-9, but they are so much fun to watch.

I was laughing my ass off when that happened. Kidd's best coaching move so far. (that dude is so overmatched it's not even funny)

Panic mode is In for both NYC squads right now. I think Woodson is a decent coach who lost their most important player IMO.
Word is Kidd isn't even coaching, Lawrence Frank is making all the calls and timeouts except for the spill TO. Lol.

How did he get a head-coaching job? I never understood how one can go straight from playing to a HC position...without any coaching experience. This is chess, it ain't checkers.

It's the whole court general thing that PG's have. Sorta like Mark Jackson in golden state. He was never a coach. Went straight from the announcers booth to HC. Seems to be working out for him. They looked like hot garbage his first year, but he's turned it around rather well.

Good call. But, in Mark Jackson's case - he got away from the game for a while and though he was just a commentator - I'm guessing (pure speculation on my part) he may have worked on how he'll coach if that opportunity comes his way.
