2011: Sandoval 1 for 1 with an RBI, Brian Wilson gets the save, NL wins.

2012: Sandoval 1 for 2 with 3 RBI's, Melky Cabrera 2 for 3 with a HR and 2 RBI's, wins MVP, Posey scores a run, Matt Cain gets the win with 2 shutout innings, NL wins.

2013: Other than 1 AB, the Giants sit on the bench the entire game, AL wins.

Just sayin. lol

No. This is how it works. I'm sure every baseball fan on this forum can agree here:

I think Miggy had the best overall performance

Hit a double, scored the winning run and had a couple great plays at third.
One that took away a hit saved a run and ended the inning.

Bochy didnt play his guys because he wanted them rested. It has nothing to do with ability. Stop defending the Cards players who sucked.

I still think Bochy should have pinch hit Scutaro for Carpenter in the 9th. Let the guy have an All Star at bat. Also, I would have loved to see Romo get 1 batter in the 9th.

Bochy might have made the most smartest move to sit his own players so they can be fully rested for the second half. Hey, I would remind them the pundits have picked the Dodgers to win the NL West.
