DMC fired Paul Westphal and George Karl himself before even playing for them. Mike Malone is the only one that clicked with DMC.
Karl didn't really want to coach anyway, he just wanted to cash in one last time. Otherwise he wouldn't have taken a job where he wanted to trade the franchise player. Also seemed disinterested so many times and didn't care about coaching defense. Westphal wasn't a good hire either. We kept striking out on coaches more than anything. The reason Malone is the only one who clicked is that he's the only one who was actually decent.

I even remember when this dude was drafted, I was 12 years old back then.
