Not saying you're wrong yet but...as far as I know, yesterday was the deadline for the stretch provision. That was what we used to waive Ellington, making it more cap friendly. Tyler has an unguaranteed contract and could probably be cut at a later date (maybe even up to the season opener) without penalty.

right, but all I'm saying is Tyler has history in GS with Malone. I've watched Knicks games when he was playing and he was impressive.
