wasn't aware that they played today in portland but i heard that Ben is looking good for a rookie. Maybe he should start over Thorton? BTW, i doubt cousins will be an all-star due to him being snubbed. Even if he is the best C this upcoming season, the kings must have a good record for him to be on the team....unless the kings nation vote him in.

Was just gonna pose this question.
I think I'm one of the few remaining Thornton fans, but he's been clearly outplayed this preseason by McLemore. Obviously, regular season is a different ball game and Ben would take some lumps. But in the long run, that might be OK for us.
I'm kinda looking at the backcourt pairings, too. If you start Vasquez and McLemore, that's Thomas/Thornton off the bench. Pretty potent offensively.
In the end, I think I'd start Thornton to begin the year. Let Ben get his feet wet and take over as soon as ready. He can still play solid minutes off the bench.

Dude's been kinda ballin this preseason haha. Well from the games I saw he has been doing pretty well anyway. Better than Salmons.
