Pick going to Philly is top-10 protected. That's great.

Excellent trade. Can only get better depending on the overseas players we get. Saric would be nice, but apparently it's not.
Philly has a lot of bigs now.

We are getting ripped by the national media for this move, of course.

At this point we could've traded Stauskas for LeBron straight up and they would still find a way to rip us.

f**k the national media. Dump those s**tty ass salaries. Picks aren't guaranteed. We have sucked in the draft except for Boogie and maybe Ben Mac. The national media would bag on the kings if they signed Durant tomorrow for free.

Here's what I've concluded about our picks...
2016: Top 10 protected from CHI via previous deal
- Inside top 10: Philly can swap with us
- Outside top 10: Chicago gets it
2017: Same as above
2018: Top 10 protected from PHI
I don't see the huge risk here. Obviously, these are assets. But the plan is to not be picking top 10. There's a good chance, IMO, that Philly will be worse than us for next 2 years, meaning the swap never comes into play.

cuz you're clearing cap space for Rondo?
adding Rondo to a volatile situation
where your coach tried to trade the star player and the FO tried to explore a way to fired said coach a week later
that should work

Actually they're ripping us for the draft pick thing. And I don't think we're clearing space for Rondo, nobody wants his ass we don't need to clear space for him.Originally posted by ads_2006:Originally posted by Muggins:We are getting ripped by the national media for this move, of course.

I'm just wondering why anyone would pay Wes Mathews 15 million a year when he just ripped his Achilles in March. Guess who is landing at Sacramento international tomorrow morning at 9:30?

When you use your 8th overall pick to clear cap space for players that you are going to have to overpay to play for you, and when those players aren't really that great, you deserve to get ripped.
That's not a great way to rebuild lol

Well to be fair I don't think they're rebuilding, they already have a foundation of Demarcus Cousins, Rudy Gay, Collison, Trill.

It looks like more for Wes Matthews. The other stuff is rumors. A lot of bad press, but nothing has happened. If you're a Laker fan, read Kobe's tweet today about social media journalism.

A lot of guys have gotten overpaid. And for example, if we sign Wes Matthews, at this point who knows how he'll play. He was a very good SG before he got hurt. All speculation playa... And f**k draft picks. A lot of the same teams, including the Kings, have high picks just about every year and it don't pan out. Take a risk.
