I hope Hayward stays. They need to keep building around him and Gobert. Maybe make a move for Rubio (we need someone who can hit Gobert on the PnR) and add some shooters.
Fun year despite all the injuries (so many ). They got past round one and I hope they build off that. First step is locking up Hayward

Thems fighting words
They need to find a second scoring option for Hayward. Hill and Hood are so damn inconsistent, and it's likely Hill is gone.
I think Jazz fans are in for a rough summer.

Hopefully Exum reaches his potential.

He better learn to shoot or he will never reach his potential.

He's shown flashes but he really needs to work on his handle and his strength. He has shown he can get anywhere on the court in a hurry, he just has to finish.
His strength isn't his shooting, but it does need to improve as well. If he starts next year he'll have some great games, followed by some garbage games. Id like Patty Mills brought in to help balance that out. Mills is a phenomenal shooter off the bench, and cam give this team 25 minutes at PG and SG.
This is under the assumption Hill doesn't come back. He wants to, but he could opt for more money

It's awful. No All-Pro means no extra no ey from Utah unless it's a 4 year deal. I'm assuming he wants to do what Durant did and then get that super max when it's available.
Utah needs to bring in someone really good in order to keep Hayward. Bringing back Millsap and Korver would be a start. Drop Diaw and move Burks, then package Hood and Favors for someone else if you have to (someone like Gary Harris and filler would be ideal).

I agree. I think Paul needs to come home. He'd really help out the offense and give us a nice consistent PF threat. I'd love to see Korver come back too. Can you imagine how dangerous we would have been had we drafted Booker instead of Lyles?Originally posted by saniner:Originally posted by JustinMT:Boston is gonna look so good to Gordon. I really wanted Turner instead of Lyles, but he went one pick ahead. Booker would've been great though, and he'd take a lot of pressure off of Hayward.

Dream scenario for me is Hayward and Ingles come back, Favors is traded with our 24th pick for Eric Bledsoe, and Paul Millsap comes back. Burks can be traded for a 2nd to free up space, and Diaw can be let go. The only problem is our depth would be garbage. Ingles wohld potentially start so you can bring Hood off the bench, Exum and Lyles would need to step up, and Joe Johnson will cost a lot as well. You would have to draft well and sign guys on the cheap. I do like this starting group though.
PG - Bledsoe, Exum, Neto
SG - Hood/Ingles, (Exum)
SF - Hayward, Ingles, JoeJesus
PF - Millsap, Lyles, Bolomboy, JoeJesus
C - Gobert

We cant afford to lose Hayward. Its pretty much impossible to draw free agent stars here. We need Gobert+Hayward+ one final star player to put us into serious contention mode. If we lose Hayward we'll be back looking for 2 guys, which could take years to find in the draft.

I can't be the only one excited about the Celtics trade. It could mean Hayward is less of an option for them. I think they will make a big push for Blake Griffin assuming they draft Jackson or Tatum.
I see Utah trying to be very active on draft day, moving picks and players to entice Hayward to stay. My hope is that the Suns draft a PG and make Bledsoe available.

I'm hoping Boston uses those new picks to get Butler or George. If so then we'd just have to worry about Miami.Originally posted by saniner:I can't be the only one excited about the Celtics trade.
