I'm guessing those numbers are based off tickets sold. Maybe ppl get stuck in traffic lol. I don't know, but I've been to a few games there and seats around me were empty. I didn't sit in bleachers either.

i was at the game last night. i'd say the stadium was only 35 - 40% full.

The Dodgers have a high attendance number because they play in the most populated city in the country, and have a higher seating capacity than most.

The fanbase is a small group of hardcore fans, and a giant mass transient people who are at a baseball game with company seats. They dont pay attention to the game. Too busy bouncing a beach ball, playing with their cell phones, and talking to eachother. Theres a distinct difference in the baseball IQ at Dodger stadium. Listen every time a Dodger hit the ball in the air out of the infield. The place erupts into cheers at the sound of the bat, and then dies down when they realize its just a lazy fly ball, not a HR. Its pathetic. They arent even watching.

Not to mention the fact that the stadium is only close to full from the 4th through the 7th. Show up late, leave early is the motto down there.
