Only 75 mil of the Dodgers 230 mil payroll is going towards homegrown players. 33%

We have built our team around players like Buster Posey, Madison Bumgarner, Matt Cain, Tim Lincecum, Pablo Sandoval, Sergio Romo, etc. Then we add pieces to fill in the gaps.

The Dodgers just bought most of their stars. Even Puig was just technically a free agent.
