Steph Curry does not belong in this conversation.

Posey is an MVP. Top 5 player in the entire league.

Kaep has the potential to be top 5 Qb in the league if he can do this over the long haul.

Curry is a really good player but not on the level of those two. It's been one good season and one round of the playoffs.

Baron Davis and Stephan Jackson got the warriors this far

Kaepernick, without him 49ers would be lucky to get a WC spot (assuming there is no alex)

Without Posey, the Giants still have Panda, Romo, Cain, etc

How did that work out in 2011 for the giants ?

Iirc, came down to final couple weeks against Arizona.

Without a qb, we are picking top 10 in draft by November

Niners made the playoffs the year before. Think about what you are saying.

Curry just broke the All Time 3 point record and is the greatest outside shooter in the league. He deserves to be in the conversation because he is a GREAT player. I dont judge him solely upon if the team won the title. He isnt going to do that with the players on the team now. Anyway, Kaep didnt do that either.
What the Webzone is seeing: Which player is the Most Valuable Player?
What the ACTUAL Question is: Which player will be the Most Valuable Player to his team over the next 5 years?

Colin Kaepernick is my favorite player in this poll. However, Alex Smith did take us to the NFC Championship game and could have taken us further so one could argue that the coaching scheme and system is the primary reason for CK's success. Buster Posey's resume is exceptional and the past three years has shown what happens when he's not in the line up but the Giants are built on pitching. The 49ers are a running team with an elite defense and that formula may be tweaked a little with the emergence of CK7 as a passer but AS OF RIGHT NOW...

The answer is clearly appears to be Stephen Curry. Again I can't emphasize enough that CK7 may emerge as the answer here and that Buster Posey's resume has plenty of reasons to side with him, but it appears that Curry will be the more important player to his team over the next five years. Both the Giants and 49ers seemingly have something to fall back on while the Warriors are fully invested in building the team around Steph.

Honorable Mention:
