2012-2013 NBA Playoffs Discussion Thread

Spurs have been there so many times. Unless the Pacers win game 4 the series is over. So it's Spurs-Heat., Spurs can win one from memory alone. Duncan can still ball, Ginobili is an assassin, he does not care that the King and Wade are supposed to win 2, 3, 4, or 5 more in a row. The second game of the Pacer series I saw the old LeBron in the final minutes. The Heat have no inside game, Splitter and Boris Diaw have length and skill. The finals will come down to Pop giving Spoelstra a lesson in coaching.
Its gonna be Heat vs Spurs and LeBron will get revenge for his first trip to the Finals

7th seed decimated by injuries, 6th seed, 5th seed. Let's not get too carried away, Spurs fans.

Carry this, bro.

In the highly competitive West, a grand total of two games separated the second seed from the fifth seed. I recall hearing confident predictions not so long ago of a Memphis-Miami Finals.

Miami has home court so the layoff rust for the Spurs wont have as much pressure if the Spurs were at home.

Funny how the same guys who picked Memphis are not giving the Spurs any chance vs MIA. Remember when Spurs had little chance vs DET but had to beat them for the West since the Lakers couldn't. Dobo, you dont think this is one of the stronger Spurs squad ever? We have two Blwen type of players and Duncan has a very nice bounce in his step. Parkers jumper combined with his usual skills is nearly unguardable. The defense is playing awesome an the interior passing is a pleasant surprise. If MIA makes it, they gonna have to grow up a little to beat SA.
SA in 7 vs Heat-in 4 vs IND.

I had Memphis in six, but of course I thought the Spurs had a good chance. No way in hell I would think they could dispose the Grizz like a dirty tampon. That was insane. I hope Miami gets there so we have a good finals.

I want Miami. Everyone's going to predict the Heat in 4 or 5, but unlike what usually happens, the Spurs have gotten better as they've gone deeper into the playoffs. They have exceeded my expectations, especially against Memphis.

I think Miami wins, but still.

Lol the spurs have no one to guard Lebron and don't say Leonard because he's like 6'6

Leonard is actually 6'7" with VERY long arms and a lot of athletic ability. Of course, there isn't a player in the league who can guard Lebron but Leonard can make it difficult for Lebron. But that's not where the game will be won. It will be won by keeping Wade, Bosh, and Allen from getting easy shots.

So, who's gonna guard Tim Duncan or Tony Parker? Tim looks stronger than he has in 5 years. Tony is deadly on that screen. Will MIA go over and let him penetrate or go under and get killed by his jumper. That jumper has made Parker nearly impossible to shut down.

LeBron will guard them both at the same time
