People are saying he wasn't throwing at him because it was a tied game, seems like they already had beef though

It would have been a bigger deal if this was against the Giants since there is no love lost between them. Looks like a new one has been found as Grienke and Quentin has re-kindled their feuding within the same division.
They might as well suspend Quentin starting with the Dodger series at their place coming up here shortly.

POSTGAME BRAWL???
"In the tunnel is where Matt Kemp and Quentin met
in a tense, face-to-face confrontation, Kemp asking
Quentin why he'd charge the mound, Quentin
saying his head was thrown at. Quentin started
pointing, Kemp warned Quentin to stop and at that
point the pair was separated by teammates and
friends. Hanley Ramirez first intervened, then
Clayton Kershaw grabbed Kemp from going back
for more, while Clayton Richard was backing up
Quentin."

RT @SI_PeterKing: RT @ceboscuit: Grienke knew what could happen when he threw at him ... Right. Threw at him on a 3-2 pitch in a 2-1 game. Suuuure.
Everyone's mad at Quentin, I ain't even mad

HOLY COW, there's more to this that took place during the melee, including Kemp's comments about Quentin and Stanford plus one more player should have been thrown out

Baseball players dont know how to fight so none of them should act all tough, Quentin actually tried to do something most guys will walk towards the pitcher so he gives everybody enough time to hold him back. It sucks that Grienke got hurt but he was trying to protect himself so you really cant blame the dude. I dont think Grienke was intentionally throwing at him but oh well.

Pitch was high and waaay inside, think it bounced off his shoulder...not intentional? Sure.
