I am not sure he makes it, but he is a HOF players anyways.

Agreed.

No question about that.

I hope so
He's hitting .275 with 18 SBs so far this season and still a very good fielder, so I think he still has a couple years in him. 280 hits in 2 (maybe even more) years isn't hard for Ichiro as long as he's an every day player

Interesting fact about Ichiro. No player in history, not Cobb or Pete Rose, had more hits over the 13 year span in MLD than Ichiro did. Though you cannot actually count it as 4000 hits, he should be appreciated as the great hitter he is.

i agree....great hitter

but they shouldnt be linking all his hits together #MLBonly

I think the issue with Ichiro is thhat he doesnt walk much and isnt an effective leadoff hitter anymore if his average sits at .270. I'm not sure any team will put him in the leadoff role and make him an everyday player for 2 years. I do hope he makes it though.
Kershaw against the Marlins is about as automatic of a W as it gets. Well, Kershaw against the Giants would still be #1.

BTW... Brian Wilson pitched the 9th and got 2 Ks.

I will always be grateful for Brian Wilson His K's of Ryan Howard and Nelson Cruz will be in my memory banks forever. BUT.. I hope he sucks now. Looked good today I guess though:

JIM BOWDEN
Brian Wilson Fastball was 93 with location..cutter was 88 with poinpoint command..1-2-4 9th with 2 K's & a Double..first AB was K of Stanton
What's up with all of these players getting hit in the face all of the sudden?
