Justin Upton, one of the Braves prized acquisitions, homers in his debut.
Caught a conversation on MLB Tonight, and there was suggestion that the Rangers should trade their prized prospect, shortstop Jurckinson Profar, to the St. Louis Cardinals for their prized prospect, outfielder Oscar Tavaras. Both teams looking to plug glaring holes and would be able to play immediately.

Ya they have been mentioning that for a while. Neither team wants to do it and as a Cardinals fan, I hope they don't either. Taveras is gonna be special

Reading some info,Cubs closer Carlos Marmol might be on a much shorter leash. He could have blown the game against the Pirates, except Sveum pulled the plug before any damage was done. After reliever Jeff Russell retired one batter, it took their prized Japanese import to close the game out for the Northsiders.

Shouldn't have even been given the role. He has so unbelievably inconsistent.

Anyone else see Brandon Webb bounce the opening day first pitch for AZ??

He isnt that far removed from pitching in the big leagues, and he tossed the first pitch like a teenage girl...wtf? It bounced like 3 feet outside to the left...
