There will never be another year better than 2010 for the Giants. This year was fun and the comebacks were amazing but......... 2010 was off the charts.

2010 was more special, but 2012 was the better season.
2012 just had so many great memories and impressive feats. The perfect game, the Pence trade, the shutout sweep of LA, LA falling in their face after bulking up, the All-Star game basically starring the Giants, the Posey grand slam and Reds comeback, the Zito game and Cardinals comeback, Sandoval's game 1 in the WS, etc.
2012 was just more epic. I think 20 years from now everyone will remember more about the 2012 season.
I started following the Giants on a daily basis in 1997, and i think my top 5 fav seasons are 2012, 2010, 2003, 2002, 2000 probably.
2012 just had so many great memories and impressive feats. Even though 2012 was way more successful (Posey batting title/MVP, Cain perfect game, All-Star domination, WS sweep), 2010 was a BIT more special.

I vote 2010, just because it was the first in SF and it was such an emotional release to finally win (especially with all of the "torture"). 2012 was great but it just wasn't quite the same emotionally for me.
But dayum they were both great.

THIS. Sure the awards were greater and the sweep was impressive but I think 2010 will always be considered #1 for Giants fans. I also think the road to the WS was tougher in 2010. Atlanta. Philly, and Texas >>>>>> Cincy, StL and Detroit. In any case, the first title EVER in SF has to be #1.

We won 103 games and didn't go to the playoffs because of the f*cking Braves. I still remember when they traded for McGriff that year in July from the Padres who basically gave him away. I hate the Braves to this day because of that.

2010 for me was the best ever. First one in my life and watched every game with my son. Great team, totally unexpected. 2012 giants fans believed we could do it based off 2010, so it was awesome, but not a shock.
