I despise Bonds, but this is incorrect. He arguably had a HOF career before he even started hitting HRs.

Uh......what?

I said ALL TIME GREAT... Never said he wasn't a great player. Difference between being considered a great player or the greatest player.

He was indeed an all time great before he bulked up on the cream and the clear.

shows what a joke the baseball hall of fame is

The voters are all fickle, bitter old men with an agenda. They enjoy having the power of judging people, and thinking theyre all-knowing.

One voter said he knows Pete Rose will be elected someday, but itll be after he dies, because they dont want him to know he got in.

Bonds has already told the HOF they can shove it, and he doesnt care about getting in after they displayed the asterisk marked 756 ball.

I don't think he ever does. His stats aren't even that great considering he played half his career at Coors Field.

  • 3 time MVP
  • 8 time All-Star
  • 8 time Gold Glover
  • 7 time Silver Slugger
  • 445 career HR
  • 460 career SB
  • 2010 career hits
  • .410 career OB%
  • .288 career AVG

All by age 34. Even if he had retired the day after the 1999 season, and never touched a PED, hed have been a lock for the HOF, and an all-time great player.

Want to know how many players are in the 400/400 club? One. Barry Bonds. He was in a class all by himself before all the PED stuff even happened. That seems like an All Time great player to me, even if you end his career in 99. He finished top 5 in the MVP voting 7 times in the 90's alone.

If Bonds wasn't going to get in - I'm so glad no one else did.

Voters prove once again - they are idiots.
