Braves led that category pretty much all year, its the reason why we have so many home games in the 2nd half

Funny you mention that..because we can't beat ANYONE now

Have lost 12 of the last 16 including 4 shutouts during the span

We have become the Pirates of the past two years. We had a great first half and have been awful since the break. We need to turn it around quick if we want to make the playoffs.

We need Molina.

Yadier Molina (knee) hit in the batting cage Friday.Molina continues to make fine progress from his right knee sprain. Cardinals general manager John Mozeliak said on FOX Sports Midwest on Thursday that he's "very optimistic" the veteran backstop will come off the DL as soon as he's eligible on August 15. He might not require a minor league rehab assignment.

Can never consider a win against the hapless Cubs as "huge". We really need a sweep against the Pirates, not just to close the gap but also to give this squad a needed confidence boost.
