Have to give props to Derek Lilliquist for continuing the Dave Duncan way of developing pitchers.

Freese is just in an extended spring training at this point. Missed a ton of it with his back injury. I'm glad we're still winning so he can just swing his way out of the slump. He'll get going

I'm sure Lilliquist had a ton to do with it, but what Yadier Molina does for this team is irreplaceable. Both Shelby Miller and Adam Wainwright said they didn't shake off his call AT ALL in their games. His ability to call a game and manage this staff is unbelievable.

Eh, well we can't win em all

Mets are next

Tomorrow is:

Jeremy Hefner (0-4 4.63 ERA 25K)

vs.

Lance Lynn (5-1 2.72 ERA 47K)
2 out of 3 was always LaRussa's philosophy and it worked pretty well.

Mujica is a P-I-M-P

Lynn pitched well again and bullpen has looked better as of late.

Yep. Basically like a flip switched when Carlos Martinez and Seth Maness came up.

He just keeps getting better. 18 wins last year and he is well on his way again.

Hell, we could have 3 18 game winners

Just wait til Carlos Martinez and Trevor Rosenthal get in the rotation

Facial hair is probably the only reason Clay Zavada ever saw the Major Leagues.
