"I would say three more years, just to say a number," Beltran told the Post-Dispatch. "This is my 15th [season]. If I could do [three more], that would be a good career for me."

We'd rather not have a special needs GM.
Good to see Westbrook solid tonight. He'll soon be bumped to #5 when Carpenter comes back, but I like that.

Westbrook has 0 middle ground. He'll be awesome or horrible. Will be cut out of the playoff rotation.

Wainwright
Lynn
Miller
Carpenter
Westbrook

Bring in a BP guy and the best team in baseball will be even more loaded.
Gonna be hard to take his range out of the OF

Jon Jay is legit in the OF
Too bad his bat isn't. He will make a great defensive replacement late in games. OF of Holiday, Taveras and Craig sounds much better.
Tavaras had an opportunity to get the call now, only to be replaced by a Brock Peterson; name sounds like a name of a cop.

Ya, Peterson has been performing well in AAA though.
Ugh....

@JoeStrauss on Chris Carpenter after tonight: "He appears closer to the end than a return." ‪#‎STLCards‬
Craig is gonna pass Phillips for the RBI lead
