Since the start of the 2006 season, there has been 215 fewer stolen base attempts against the Cardinals than any other team.

Don't run on Yadi

Adam Wainwright has a 11.1 strikeout to walk ratio. If he continues on that pace it'll be the greatest in baseball history.

David Freese time running out in St.Louis?

"Cardinals third baseman David
Freese told Derrick Goold of the St. Louis
Post-Dispatch he is aware he could become
a payroll casualty because of the young and
inexpensive infield talent the club has.
Freese is arbitration eligible once again this
winter and isn't eligible for free agency until
after the 2015 season."

Kolten Wong will eventually take over at 2B and Carpenter moves to his normal position (3B)

Eh, maybe. He is a BIG man to be playing over at 3B. Would be nice to have his bat in the lineup every day though.

Presently, Craig is at first. I could see them moving him to the outfield, thus giving first to Adams. Could mean Beltran and Holliday could be let go in favor of their players, especially with Tavares over the horizon.

After this year maybe they will move Craig back to the OF and make Adams their everyday 1B. Doesnt Betran's contract expire after this year? Put Taveras in CF, Craig in RF, and Adams at 1b.
