yadier's defense, ability to basically completely shut down the opposing teams running game, and ability to manage this pitching staff is unbelievable
he isn't on posey's level offensively, but everything else he does is ALWAYS overlooked

Should actually be a good series. I think on paper the giants are the better team.
I think the fact that the giants were the best road team in the NL is gonna play a huge role. Giants in 6.

Curious. What makes you think the Giants are the better team on paper?
Cardinals scored more runs and allowed less. +117 vs. +69 run differential. Their lineup is clearly better (I'm sure you can even vouch for this)..they now have Carpenter back for the playoffs. You know Adam Wainwright can be lights out whenever at anytime. We have Lohse is consistent as f**k..Lynn a 18 game winner..so our rotation is pretty solid. Jason Motte tied for league lead in saves..we have our 7th, 8th, 9th inning guys finally set in stone. No more mixing and matching that backfired on LaRussa so many times. I just don't get it. Serious question though. I'd say the one thing that sticks out for me for you guys is Bochy obviously has experience over Matheny. Your bullpen is pretty solid as well.
