wtf? get outta here with that BS. dude is still in the prime of his career, elite defender, can play multiple positions, and took less money than what Denver/Sac offered.

Because we're really lacking shooters on our team

Yep we receded it before he decided ergo we didn't even offer him anything cause we canceled the offer

He only chose golden state because sac canceled their offer

per Marcus Thompson:

GSW has a TPE for $11M, which means it can absorb another team's contract of that amount. Here are some options...

Since the Warriors can't throw in any players or draft picks, the most likely use of the TPE would be for a player whose contract the team is trying to move. That limits the options. But here are some possibly players who might be gettable with the TPE. Factored in is the plausibility (whether the Warriors would want them or the team would want to part with them). But remember, this doesn't have to be now. The Warriors have a year. If injuries come up during the season or if they need an extra boost, here are some options:
Atlanta G Lou Williams $5.2M ($5.4M next yr)
Boston F Jeff Green $8.7M ($18.4M next 2 yrs)
Boston F Brandon Bass $6.75M ($6.95 next yr)
Charlotte G Ramon Sessions $5M
Chicago F Taj Gibson $7.5M ($25.5 next 3 yrs)
Cleveland F/C Varejao $9.1M ($9.8M next yr)
Dallas F Shawn Marion $9.3M
Detroit G Rodney Stuckey $8.5M
Detroit F Charlie Villanueva $8.5M
Lakers F Metta World Peace $7.7M
Bucks F Drew Gooden $6.7M ($6.7M next yr)
T'Wolves F Derrick Williams $5.3M
New Orleans C Robin Lopez $5.1M
76ers F Thad Young $8.6M ($18.8M next 2 yrs)
76ers C Spencer Hawes $6.5M
Phoenix C Marcin Gortat $7.7M
Kings F/C Chuck Hayes $5.7M ($6M next year)
Raps F/C Amir Johnson $6.5M ($7M next year)
Wizards F Trevor Ariza $7.7M

Take chuck Hayes plz
