It's funny that were talking about Dwight, Aldridge, or Iggy possibly coming here lol. A couple years ago we wouldn't even think about it
I used to be excited for C- graded free agents. s**t, I thought Lou Amundson was a great signing
lmao.. lou amundson
Remember when we signed Maggette and were happy about it lol

no, keep barnes ship out klay
Im not a GM but i would rather ship out Beans and Jefferson's contract before i trade Barnes. Maybe mortgage some future first round picks....
Like ship out Beans plus a first rd pick for a team and likewise for Jefferson.

I probably shouldn't be the one making trade proposals but here was my idea of how just maybe the Warriors could get off simply by only giving up the 2014 First Round Draft Pick and a 2016 Second Round Draft Pick
This would be a 3 team trade with Cleveland and Sacramento
Cleveland Gets
Andrew Bogut
Sacramento gets
Richard Jefferson
Andres Biedrins (sp)
2014 1st round draft pick from Warriors
2016 2nd round draft pick from Warriors
Cleveland returns this draft pick back to Sacramento
http://basketball.realgm.com/nba/draft/future_drafts/detailed
Sacramento's 1st round pick to Cleveland protected for selections 1-12 in 2014, 1-10 in 2015, 1-10 in 2016 or 1-10 in 2017; if Sacramento has not conveyed a 1st round pick to Cleveland by 2017, then Sacramento's 2017 2nd round pick to Cleveland protected for selections 56-60 (if this pick falls within its protected range and is therefore not conveyed, then Sacramento's obligation to Cleveland will be extinguished) [Cleveland-Sacramento, 6/30/2011]
Warriors Get
2018 top 55 protected 2nd round pick from Sacramento, if it's not in the 56-60 range, the debt is extinguished
Of course the necessary cap space to sign Dwight Howard and give the Lakers the middle finger

1) This puts the Kings well over the salary cap after the Evans for Vasquez/Lopez trade is consummated, making it illegal.
2) I don't see why the Kings would help out a division rival and pay and extra $20M to two awful players in exchange for a low first round pick (GSW) and a heavily protected 1st Round pick that would never be higher than #11.

David Lee + Andrew Bogut + either Biedrins or Jefferson gets you to where you need to be, if you don't take salary back. That's going to be VERY difficult to do though, because I think only ATL has enough cap space to take on either Bogut or Lee AND Biedrins or Jefferson, and they've already indicated that they aren't interested in Lee. (ATL rejected a Josh Smith S&T to the Warriors for Lee)
If Dwight has decided that he wants to play in GSW (big if that everyone is skimming over at this point), I think it ends up as Dwight for Barnes/Bogut/2014 #1 pick plus either another first rounder, or a guy like Ezeli, who becomes less valuable to the Dubs with Dwight in the fold.
