New logo is ok. I wish the red jerseys were a 3rd alternate. Not a huge fan of the weird angle print thing.

they went with a "scientific" badge. it is supposed to symbolize the shifting tectonic plates lolz

MLS buys Chivas USA with plans to sell it to stable ownership that will build a new stadium in LA.
In the coming months, the league will resell the club to a new ownership group that will be committed to building a new stadium and keeping the team in Los Angeles. The league has had initial discussions with a number of very qualified potential owners and intends to finalize an agreement with a new group sometime this year.
The club will play as Chivas USA during the 2014 MLS season and will be rebranded with a new team name and logo in connection with the sale to a new owner.

Looks like a long game of Q-Bert. Which doesn't necessarily displease me, but I'm just not thrilled about it. lol

This franchise is in need of a major reform. Dropping the whole Chivas thing is a smart decision that will bring further intrigue to a region dominated by Landon Donovan and the Galaxy.
I wonder what they'll think of but I did hear that Sacramento has a team named Republic FC which IMO would be a bad ass addition to the league.

A lot of people hating on the new jersey. I personally like it. Looks real clean and classy and I'm a fan of the lighter blue. Gives it a retro feel.
