Rockets reportedly shopping Luis Scola, Kevin Martin and Kyle Lowry. Martin is an expiring contract, while Scola has 3 years left on his deal, and Lowry has 2 years left on his deal.
Some reports were obvious ones, they were/are interested in Dwight Howard, Deron Williams, though getting those two would mean a complete gutting of the team, Pau Gasol and now Josh Smith from Atlanta. Darryl Morey, Rockets GM, is expected to meet with Bulls RFA Center Omir Asik.

D12 is exploring legal options to try to nullify his opt-in clause and become a FA this summer instead of next. What a gigantic turd.

Don't see how the Nets could possibly have enough to trade for Howard. They have 5 players signed to contracts
I bet he gets traded elsewhere and signs with the Nets next off season
Deron must be staying !!
Why the hell did he just become a FA? Maybe he thought Deron would dip out of BK?

damn utah for getting involved in the Odom-to-LA trade. I'd take Kyle Lowry over Mo Williams any day.

He is the stupidest motherf**ker on the planet.
Why even go through the pretenses and opt-in in the first place.
I sincerely hate Dwight Howard. I'm glad everyone know sees what a joke he is.
Dwight on March 15, 2012
"I apologize for this circus I have caused to the fans of our city," he said. "They didn't deserve none of this."
"I'm too loyal," Howard said. "I've always believed loyalty is above everything."
"Man, listen, you know my heart, my soul and everything I have is in Orlando," Howard told RealGM. "I just can't leave it behind."
I'm sorry from the bottom of my heart. I will do whatever I can to make this right and do what I was put in Orlando to do."
"This has been a very hard time," Howard said. "For me, my family and all of us. The fans deserve a better hero and I will make that happen. I love and appreciate my fans and this city."

The Magic fans are already tired of him.

That will be an excellent pickup for Lakers - do you think he will make it through waivers? I can't remember but did Billups went through it and Clippers made a bid for him...? I'm not really sure how it works...

Sam Amick: Portland GM Neil Olshey & team prez Larry Miller visited restricted free agent center Roy Hibbert tonight in DC, offered max deal. Indiana did not offer a max deal, and Hibbert is now leaning to Blazers unless Pacers match.
I'd like Hibbert to sign with Indiana. I'm looking forward to Heat-Pacers matchup again in 2013 playoffs.

I don't think he'd make it through waivers. Every team that's under the salary cap would be eligible to make a bid on him, and he'd go to the highest bidder.
Dunno why I'm shocked every year by the contracts, but Hibbert getting offered the max is so ridiculous. I don't know why teams participate in FA the way that they do. Unless you're getting a superstar, it's a losing game. Pretty much a 100% that whomever signs Hibbert...who I like...to a max deal ends up regretting it.

Ridiculous. Good, solid player, not a max player.

This dude is a joke. He is pushing to get to the Nets and DWill extends. But his circus act is so old.
