You over reacted to couple of losses by Barca and rather than giving them credit youre giving "excuses"

Eat your crow and move on.
It's not EPL but Bundesliga? I had the German League #2 so I wasn't far off

Milan played awful today. No excuses, they didn't show up. Barcelona had 1 clean sheet in their last 15 games. And Milan couldn't manage 1?

I'm fully aware of Barcelona's offense: Pass.....do nothing....Pass....do nothing....Pass....do nothing. Bayern or Dortmund will pummel the midgets.

Bundesliga is the best?!? What a joke. Pep was criticized by former players and coaches for picking the best team in a weak league.

One of the top German teams got kicked out of the Champions League by a Turkish side.

Barcelona is the FIRST team EVER to come back from a 2-0 deficit after opening leg in Champions League.

This is how scared Mueller is of the midgets from Barca:
"There is not a single team in the world who enjoy playing against Barcelona, except perhaps a few masochists...Any team who have the ambition to win the Champions League would not mind if they crashe out at this stage of the competition."

This cat doesn't even want to play Barca. Now, I've a lot of respect for Bayern, but you're just a hater. Just because Barca is not at their best, doesn't mean they are done. That's exactly why they are feared - because they don't have to play at their best to win...and when they do play at their best - the other team has NO shot. Mueller knows that...which is why - he fears Barca!

Regardless of what happens this season in Champions League - Barcelona is a team to reckon with and opposing coaches and players don't want to face them. That's respect...it doesn't matter what you think.

Well, as the resident Milan fan, I will congratulate you on your well deserved win

I kinda knew we were in trouble after Messi's goal, but didn't know it'd be that EPICally bad ...now I gotta deal with this and our terrible showing in Serie A (damn Juventus)
Are you trying to say the Real & Barcelona Derby is the #1 league? Isn't most of that league bankrupt? La Liga has no parity and yet none of the Spanish teams were able to make the UCL Final last year. Imagine what would happen if lazy Spain was actually forced to balance their check book like the Germans and British have. Instead of funding their precious choking club

Mueller is just being politically correct. He's fully aware of how much the refs baby the little midgets from Spain. Should I hold my breathe for when teams refuse to come out of the tunnel to face the big bad Barca's who lost to Celtic and AC Milan?

Thanks, and I respect that. I know how you feel man. It's a terrible feeling, and I don't mean any disrespect towards your team. It's been 3 weeks I've been hearing Barca is done and blah blah blah. I don't insult teams and Milan have great young talent and I wish you and your team well in future.

Are you seriously talking about parity? Bayern Munich is 20 pts ahead of 2nd place team in Bundesliga. ManU is 12 pts ahead...and Juve is 9 pts ahead.

Yes, La Liga has been the most talented league for couple years now. Just because there is "parity" in other leagues - doesn't make them better. Barca and Real will dominate any league in Europe.

...and Mueller is being politically correct?!? He isn't saying that about any other team. He could have just said - yes, we'd like to face Barca because they are the best team and we want to challenge ourselves. That would have been politically correct too. No, but he said - f**k that, I want no part of Barca - I hope they lose. He didn't say that about Real Madrid last season. Politically correct my ass.

...and now you're crying about refs. LOL...typical loser mentality.

One of the best goals this year...surrounded by 5 players and Messi puts it in the top corner.

It's okay, it was def one of the most amazing goals I've ever seen....besides, I got my buddies Johnny and Gold label to ease the pain

As for leagues, I agree with 49ersMyLife, La Liga isn't deep, but there's no way Barca nor Real Madrid wouldn't pwn every other league in the WORLD, let alone Europe...

"In fact, the last time a club other than these two won a league championship was back in 2004. Two clubs do not make a league but in this case, they do. The combined annual budgets of these two clubs is more than the rest of the eighteen first division teams put together."

^ That's embarrassing

If they would dominate any league then why didn't they make the UCL Finals last year?

Mueller said he wants no part of Barcelona? They just defeated Barcelona's big brother in last years Semi-Finals. What did you expect him to say?

That goal illustrates how Milan didn't show up for the game. 5 players around and they let him stroll on into the box completely undefended. Are you saying you couldn't have yourself scored that goal?

Nope. Neither Real or Barcelona would lead the Bundesliga THIS YEAR. Bayern has surrendered 10 total goals in League play. Barcelona had 1 clean sheet in the span of 14 games.

Bayern also shut out Dortmund in League Tournament. Dortmund being the most dominant team in Champions League thus far. You know....that team that defeated Real

Milan lost couple of great players last summer...and then beat Barca in the first leg last month. I think they have the right coach...and a darn good young team. They also got Balotelli next season in Champions League - so Milan's future is bright.

I don't think other la liga teams are that weak either. Of course, the bottom feeders SUCK...but that's true for every league. But, teams from 3-6 are as good as no.3 - 6 teams in other leagues. Valencia (a no. 7 team in la liga) almost beat PSG. Malaga is no joke and Falcao led Atleti is a pretty good team as well.

They are just not well known like Arsenal or Napoli...but when those teams face each other - la liga teams have been more successful in recent times. Since 2006 - a la liga team has won Europa Cup 4 times.

Well, to your first point, I guess we'll have to wait until the Semifinals before we see a Bayern/Barca match up. As for Dortmund, you mean the same team who needed an "own goal" assist to keep a tie @ Real? Look, neither of us is saying the Bundesliga is bad, but Barca and Real aren't teams to be dismissed as easily as you state b/c Bayern is playing well...

If you recall, last 2 times ppl were hyping Bayern this much, Inter won in 2009 and Chelsea won last year, so I'll go with the "believe it when I see it" approach

You're making ridiculous arguments. Winning a league is different than winning Champions League. Champions league has knockout stage - anyone can lose on a given day. Best teams don't win Champions League often...but best teams usually win their leagues.

I told you what I expected him to say. I certainly didn't expect a good player to say - I'd rather see a team lose than face them. Lol @ big brothers. You think size matters...and maybe for you it does - but we're talkin' about soccer here (not your favorite male pornstar). Spain's dominance in Euro Cup and World Cup and Barca's dominance in Europe has gained respect of other managers and players. Ppl just look like fools callin' them names while they are at the top.

Messi hit that in the top corner in a split second after one touch. You can't defend it because none of them anticipated that he will hit it so quickly - and at that point, you're just hoping he misses or hits it straight to the goalie. But, he put that in the top corner.

I like Bayern...and I'll never say that they can't beat Real or Barca in Champions League. Chelsea won last year...so anything can happen. But, if Bayern plays at their best vs Real or Barca or even Juve play at their best - I think Bayern loses to each of them.

Bayern was in the easiest group in CL and played a struggling Arsenal team in the first knockout stage. Would love to see them go up against Real or Barca or Juve in the QFs.

Did anyone watch how Munich lost 2-0 at home to Arsenal?!?

...and I lost some respect for Manuel Neuer. Such a cry baby! Did anyone see what he did after Gunners went ahead by 2 goals in the 85th minute?!? Pathetic.

Now, Wenger makes the "politically correct" statement:

"I don't know if Bayern are ready to win the title," Arsene Wenger said after the match.
"We have played Barcelona twice in recent years and believe me, they are the best team."

Good luck to Bayern in the draw. I hope they draw, Barca, Real, or Juve.
