That would be my team. I would switch Davis with Aldridge if he was ready to go.
Davis wins a National Championship, Gold Metal, and is #1 overall pick. That's a hell of a start of a NBA career

It was bad when Derrick Rose went down with a torn ACL. That followed LaMarcus Aldridge's hip surgery and Dwight Howard's back injury last month. Now Chris Bosh is hurt as well. That's three big men and the likely starting point guard, gone.
USA Basketball won 26 of its last 27 games with Wade in the lineup and is 36-5 overall with him on teams. Three of those five losses came at the 2004 Athens Olympics, when the Americans left with the bronze medal. Wade won his first NBA championship two years later and averaged 16 points while coming off the bench for the ''Redeem Team'' that won gold in Beijing in 2008. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/wade-needs-knee-surgery-london-194411665--nba.html;_ylt=Ancj_w0ycLpwY0_gYcTHRgs5nYcB
SFs:
Carmelo Anthony--lock
LeBron James-lock
Andre Iguodala--lock
Rudy Gay---would choose Gay over Griffin because he is more polished/built for the international game
Big Men:
Chris Bosh--lock
Tyson Chandler--lock
Kevin Love--lock
Blake Griffin
Anthony Davis
Lamar Odom
Scorers:
Kobe Bryant--lock
Kevin Durant--lock
Small Gs:
Eric Gordon--lock from his shooing in 2008--plus fills the pure shooter void from Curry being left off
James Harden---passed over due to taller scorers
Chris Paul--lock
Russell Westbrook--- maybe passed over by more experienced Williams--
Deron Williams--maybe passed over by younger Westbrook
My picks with 2008 experience and talent that plays well in the international style in mind:
Anthony
James
Igoudala
Gay
Chandler
Bosh
Love
Bryant
Durant
Gordan
Paul
Williams or Westbrook (coaches decision)
This guy needs/deserves to be on the team i.m.o. I'll admit I am a Jazz fan, but I think this kid is going to be a legit player for years to come. The guy's not even 21 yet. I think many people forget he was a third pick, and never really got his chance with NJ. His numbers would be much better but he was stuck behind Milsap and Jefferson. Finally Corbin decided he was too good to just sit on the bench and started the last few regular season games and playoff games. Again homerism aside here is a highlight tape. He has it all in my opinion. Some really nice post moves, medium range jumper, hops, length, strength, blocking ability, I would say good/great on defense. Again he's got the total package.
I guess this could go in the NBA thread, but at the same time I hope he makes it. If I'm not mistaken he is on the reserves so he may just get his shot.
