Its probably 40 which would be stupid. Lincecum is simply not a $20M a year pitcher. Hopefully its closer to 30 but i highly doubt it.

wouldn't be surprised at $20, hope its more of a 15m - 17m deal though.

He could have signed a Matt Cain deal before. I think he knows that no one would give him a $100M deal now and took a deal that really was more than he should get. With that, I think Arroyo will be off the table and the Giants will spend the remaining money on a LF and the pen.
