he's our 2nd best hitter, batting .290. but his defense sucks
but I think a team will pay him money that the A's wouldn't be willing to pay him (of course )
Stephen Drew got 10 mill last season, I'm sure Lowrie will get more

Are you crazy? Blanco yes. Belt and Crawford? Give me a break.
shortstop is a lock for Christian Arroyo in the next year or two anyways. BCraw isn't really lighting it up. Belt is horrible on both sides. This is that one awk year after a world championship where you have the same lovable characters that saved the world last year, but in reality, aren't doing jack this year.

lol Christian Arroyo is still in rookie ball. Hes a "lock"?
Belt is going to be a great player. Hes been steadily improving ever since he first made the team.
I think it's funny that everyone says belt only contributes when it doesn't matter. .. Well the rest of the season doesn't matter and he's finally contributing. Ha
People can call him a cheater all they want, but Barry Bonds had the quickest, deadliest, and most disciplined bat of his era. As a Giants fan, I wish I couldve appreciated the rarity of what I watched all thise years. It became so common to see that you didnt fully realize what you were witnessing until it was gone. There might never be another baseball player like Bonds. I hope his greatness gets more recognition in years to come when the venom towards that era starts to fade.
Looking back, it was amazing that one player was able to cause people to all stop what they were doing to watch him bat, or plan things around when he would be up next, whether they liked him or hated him. Pitchers used to get so nervous that he would take them deep, that a single was considered a success.

I don't care what anyone says -- Bonds will forever be my most favorite Giants player ever. He deserves to be in the hall of fame. One of the greatest hitters of all time.
Man, not the Bonds thing again. He f**ked up and cheated. We look like NY homers hoping AROD is cleared when we pound the desk that Bonds was different. Was he a great hitter? Yes, HOF before he cheated. Would he have hit 74 HRs in a year with cheating? No.

I don't think anyone's talking about someone being cleared of anything. Simply stating that no matter what else is said, Bonds is one of the greatest hitters in MLB history, and that makes him HOF worthy.

That's where we create a problem. What do you do with all the hitters who put up the numbers who didn't have Bonds talents ? Sosa for example. Their numbers and what they did at the time were HOF numbers, but a lie. Then you start aging the game of "we'll before he took them I think..." That crap makes it hard to manage. Do I think he is a HOF hitter, yes. Do I think he f**ked up and he should be punished, yes.

I think all the trial stuff + never winning a world series (/losing one) + all the hate, etc. is punishment enough.

Crawford has been improving every season. he's not going anywhere. you may know that the Giants are in last f**king place but you haven't been paying attention to Crawford's improving play.
