The Giants will listen to offers on Hunter
Pence , tweets Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports.
At this stage of the season, the club believes
that they have to be open to everything. San
Francisco certainly likes Pence and wants to
keep him long term, but with a lack of
offense out there, they could get a very
strong return for him. It was recently
reported that the Rangers have interest in
acquiring Pence.

Btw, I think it's also important to look at Sabean's track record of top-10 picks. Most of his 1st round picks have been the 20's (crap shoot to get good talent there), and only Cain (2002) has turned into anything special. But his top 10 picks have all turned out to be outstanding prospects and/or all-star major leaguers:
2009 - Zach Wheeler (6th overall)
2008 - Buster Posey (5th overall)
2007 - Madison Bumgarner (10th overall)
2006 - Tim Lincecum (10th overall)
1997 - Jason Grilli (4th overall)

Glad Arias is back. I missed him. Schiercock plays our RF so well or that might have got down.
