NVT got roughed up tonight in Lancaster...2.1 innings pitched, 4 hits, 3 ER, 2 BB and 3 Ks.

He'd fit right into our starting rotation at the moments

Good job Pablo, way to stay patient as always.
Still 5 innings to go, but I'm going to turn this game off. Have a good night folks...

Vander Tuig makes his first start in SJ tonight. Interesting.

is he somehow related to Yasiel Puig? Because that would be great.

Another brilliant post by Garcia

Gave up a HR, too. Not a great debut in high A, but I'm not sure he's pitched much lately (had one outing in AZL I know of). Thanks...

No problem...plus, Lancaster is the best hitting team in the Cal league so it's not that surprising he got lit up.

Cant judge him by one start. However, I wasnt impressed with his stuff when I saw him pitch in college. He wont be blowing people away .
Lone Star Pursuit

7:17pm: The Rangers have also set their
sights on Giants right fielder Hunter Pence,
and Mariners designated hitter Kendrys
Morales to fill a need for a right-handed bat,
baseball sources tell Jeff Wilson of the Star-
Telegram . Unlike Rios, Pence and Morales
are only signed through the remainder of this
season. It's also worth noting that while the
White Sox are sure to be sellers, that's not
the case with San Francisco or Seattle.

Check back in two weeks with the Giants. The way they are going it might be a fire sale.

that will never happen.

With our bad baseball, is the sellout streak going to end this season
Well at least Pence looks like he's heating up just in time to get traded.
Now that the Giants are 9 games below .500 and are 7.5 games behind the Dodgers Sabean can now start seriously listen to offers and sell off pieces.

Non waiver trading deadline is next Wednesday, it would have to be within a week.
