Don't look now, but the Sharks have a couple really promising players that look to be up-and-comers. In particular, rookie forward Daniil Tarasov. Kid tore up the USHL for two straight years as an all-star. Moved up to the ECHL, excelled there. Now has been called up to Worcester and has 6 points in 9 games with a plus-2 rating. He's a 21 year-old AHL rookie that hasn't been signed to a contract with San Jose. I would think it'd be hard for them not to take notice right now.
Brodie Reid is another one doing well. Had 25 points last year, has 21 in 28 games this year with a plus-2 rating in his 2nd AHL season.
After winning Best Defenseman, scoring the most goals by a defenseman, having the best plus/minnus, and winning Gold in the U20 WJC, our German prospect Konrad Abeltshauser is tearing it up in the QMJHL even more this year. 36 points in 34 games. Hope he keeps it up. We won't have Boyle, Murray, and Stuart forever.
In other news: Frazer McLaren was traded to the Maple Leafs. Don't know for what, yet.
