I know. But I grew up an Oilers fan but fell in love with the Flames after the 04 run. Then I moved to Calgary. So I root for them both.

I cheer for all Canadian teams when it comes to the playoffs.

But as for Calgary, yes, I was a bandwagoner in that case. But I will stick with them as a true fan should. They are in for some lean years.

its probably because our two socal rivals are in europe. we don't have anyone in close vicinity for a quick trip as easily, and not many teams want to travel out this way and play us unless they can squeeze one or both of our friends down south into the trip. that doesn't make it impossible, it just severely limits the possibilities, and in the end its a week long break. not too crazy about it, but whatever.

more time for nemo and havlat to get well.
