Good lord, Sharks playing zero D in this 2nd period. Turnovers galore and serious lack of coverage discipline.

Wow! What a goal by Galiardi! Great play from Torres.

As much as I hate the guy, Torres has made quite an impact in just his first two periods here.

Tough way to end the streak. This was a game they should have won.
I am not sure what happened, but the defensive zone coverage was as bad as I have ever seen, particularly in the 3rd period and OT. Forwards and defensemen were just terrible in defensive zone coverage. Pretty much all the defensemen were bad for long stretches today, and I thought Boyle and Demers were especially bad. Power Play was a joke. Also, Patty has gone AWOL again, haven't even noticed him on the ice during this past win streak.
Hate to nit-pick after a nice stretch like that, but heading towards the playoffs they need to really get sharper in these areas if they want to make it past the first round. The 3rd and 4th liners have really upped their game lately, and that continued today.
Tough game, tough day.

Wasn't really anything strategic, just a a ton of hustle by the Stars players, especially behind SJ's net.
Honestly game wouldn't have been close but Burns was killing it that game.

I missed the game because I thought it was at a different start time. I see we blew a lead and lost in the SO, so despite all the exciting moments, that had to put a damper on things, considering the snapped win streak.. so I'm kind of glad I missed it.
Need to get back to winning ASAP though. Starting with beating on Columbus, Detroit, and then Dallas hopefully.

For those interested, we signed a few more top-tier prospects over the past few days, including the leading scorer in all of NCAA hockey this past year who was also a playoff MVP and averaged over a point per game in his collegiate career. Really liking what we're doing as far as our farm system.
F Ryan Schwartz (top NCAA scorer): http://sharks.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=664367
F Eriah Hayes (team captain, led nation in shots): http://sharks.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=664366
G Troy Grosenick: http://sharks.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=664746

schwartz size is of concern, 5- 10 205
However, if he has enough skill and speed (i.e. claude giroux) we should be fine

I think his size is fine, Skinner in Carolina is 5-10 185 and is a star for them. Schwartz is way thicker, and at that size is probably harder to move, and if he's quick he could be a dangerous player.
Was looking for some highlights -- here's a play he made in the playoffs: http://youtu.be/_sHxVi4u1Co?t=1m55s
