The return to greatness begins, lets to do another back to back.

Without Phil, case closed.

You do know the Lakers won titles before Phil.

Meh bad: without Phil or Pat Riley; case closed.

Wouldn't it be crazy if Pat Riley hires Phil in MIA.

Jordan>>Kobe>>LeBron

Lebron isn't even in the discussion yet, he gotta get some rings first.

That's what Jordan just said about Kobe after Sunday.

I don't think Jordan has ever given props to anybody but himself and a few teammates.

Jordan's given Kobe plenty of props over the years.

Derrick Rose

Who plays for the Bulls. So basically Jordan is saying that Rose is better than Kobe is/was? He's not being biased at all...

Isn't that the exact same thing they said about Shaq. How did that work out for you?
Thoughts on Rick Adelman as a possible replacement for Phil?

That's who I want.

Adelman's a good coach. He's not top tier, but definitely a top 10 guy. I thought the Kings were stupid to let him go when they did.
This whole thing about the lockout or whatever has left me completely unexcited about this offseason, despite the numerous questions that linger about the team.

Yeah, that was a really dumb decision. We've been searching for a quality coach since then. The firing of Adelman from the Kings was based soley on the Maloofs thinking they know basketball... it was quite apparent the move came from them as opposed to Petrie.

Adelman has done a solid job everywhere he has been.

Actually it had to do with dollars and cents.

Or both, dollars and lack of sense.

You are probably right to an extent... this was when they started slashing all the dollars. Although, they publicly criticized Adelman's coaching during the year. I think they were "over" Adelman. He wasn't really getting paid that much.

You underestimate the cheapness/brokeness of the Maloofs. Have fun dreaming of a FA this summer only to find they don't open their wallets again.
Getting back on track.

From Bynum's exit interview:
"My actions ... don't represent me, my upbringing, this franchise or any of the Laker fans out there that want to watch us and want us to succeed," Bynum said. "Furthermore, and more importantly, I want to actually apologize to J.J. Barea for doing that. I'm just glad that he wasn't seriously injured in the event and all I can say is, I've looked at [the replay], it's terrible and it definitely won't be happening again."

Not only is he a classless thug he is also an idiot. Won't happen again my ass. Beasley, JJ, who is next?
