George Whitfield on board is awesome. Newton and Manziel won Heismans working for him. Luck worked with him. Philip Rivers had a really nice year after working with him. This dude is a good teacher.

This is nuts, I can't believe Jim brought Whitfield in to take the weight off, this is pretty humbling of Jim. Whitfield is very strict, very detailed, he's gonna fix Kap good.

They don't want to pay Harbaugh but they'll bring in some special QB guru.
Harbaugh's going to get paid when the times due, and this dude's gonna to help elevate Kap to the next level.

Ya, there really isn't a better situation for him... He's got a first-rate FO, a franchise QB under contract, and tons of talent with a new stadium. It's only a matter of time til this deal gets done.

Someone doesn't understand what intern means.

Harbs is the man. This will help Whitfield's nice resume look even better. "We agree on a lot of things," Harbaugh said. "Haven't found anything we disagree on. So it's not like we've turned our quarterbacks over to George"
Now, he can focus a little more on other areas... clock management, red zone offense and Roman's diet comes to mind.

Since play action is such a big part of our offense, I'd like that cleaned up too. I'd like a more convincing play action fake, and Id like the RB's and the QB's to be on the same page. It was a
when Kaepernick would fake it to gore, but Gore was on the other side and nowhere near the ball to execute a convincing fake handoff.

lol yeah it's funny when that happens. You'll see that from time to time on playfakes from shotgun/pistol. Gore is probably instructed to bypass the fake if he needs to quickly get in position for pass pro/blitz pickup. A more convincing play action fake should come from under center, after we've pounded teams on the ground a few times.

George Whitfield and Bob Whitfield (not related) are both working with the team as part of the Bill Walsh Minority Coaching Fellowship so their purpose is two-fold. 1. Niners coaching staff is getting more specialized help in prep for the season 2. The pair of Whitfields have a great opportunity to continue their development as minority coaches in working with a top-notch NFL coaching staff. Like JH said, it should be a win-win situation.

Yeah, that has a lot to do with Roman's diet... not thinking clearly, at all. You know the saying, "you are what you eat."
A lot of junk food can result in junky designed play
